I took the Deltic Pictorial rail tour back in 1977. Because I had to take a train into London to catch the Deltic hauled express to Edinburgh, I barely caught the train much less had the opportunity to take any pictures. It was dark when we returned to Kings Cross so the only pictures taken that day were at Haymarket depot and Edinburgh station. Edinburgh and back in a day, makes for a very long day.
BR was kind enough to have DMU service between the station and the locomotive depot - our visit coincided with an open house.
The shots where all taken on September 24th 1977, with a Pentax Spotmatic on Kodak Plus X (?), and processed in my bathroom. I guess I did not leave the negatives in the fixer long enough since they are beginning to fade quite badly. Fortunately, I was able to to reverse the process on the PC…
